KEROS KITE CAMP
Location: Lemnos Island, Greece
2023 date TBC
Accommodation: Shared luxury safari tents, full board
Experience: Suitable for beginners
In partnership with Surf Club Keros
Details: Adaptive kiting is a technical and challenging activity! This is an introduction to kiting camp, it may not be possible to progress to kitesurfing in one week. You will firstly be taught how to control the power kite on land, then progress through various stable platforms on the water (which may include catamaran, inflatable sofa, SUP board, kayak) Some people, but not everyone, will get to try kitesurfing by the end of the week.
Kiting is a very wind-dependent sport, there will be additional activities available in the event of no wind. Patience is required!
The accommodation at the surf club has been well designed and is in a stunning location. The safari tents are reasonably accessible, however, the ramps up to the tents are very steep, so good upper body strength or a willingness to accept help is needed! Each safari tent has it's own wet-room with a free standing chair to use in the shower. The beach area has been made as accessible as possible, but still has a lot of sand!
