Just an email to say a massive thank you for yesterday! We had a brilliant time and the families loved being on the water and trying out all the activities. I had so many compliments throughout the day my favourite being “This is the bestest day of my life” from Michael aged 7.

We couldn’t have done it without your wonderful team so please do extend our thanks to them!

Thank you very much for the brilliant day at Access Adventures on Friday, the 11th of August 2023.
It was a fantastic occasion! Really good to meet the Access Adventures staff and to meet other visually, impaired people willing to have a go at something different. The staff were kind and supportive. The training was brief but sufficient. Loads of encouragement throughout the day.
Please thank the cook in the catering shack for providing so much, food and a wonderful variety.
I look forward to returning another day, to have another go, but maybe to push the boundary a little bit.

We wanted to say a huge thank you to Whizz Kids and all the staff from Access Adventures for such an incredible day today. We have truly made some amazing family memories and George had an awesome day trying out the water sports he never thought he’d ever get to do.

After a very tough winter, all I could keep focusing on was my ski holiday with Access Adventures and what a trip it was! I had a fabulous time and my skiing improved alot. 

There were lots of laughs and of course the obligatory meltdown/tears on day 5 where I lost all confidence on the icy part but after some hugs, encouragement and wise words of wisdom everything came back and was off again! 

Everyone got on, supported, encouraged and picked each other up metaphorically and physically! The party nights were hilarious, we all got cheered when we did karaoke together, we drank the bar dry of rose wine, there were the deep chats with people who just get it and was just a nice break from the world. These are truely magical trips which i am so greatful for. My body held up surprisingly well, but i have defo crashed since getting home!

The mountains will forever feel like home and nothing beats sharing them with amazing friends. Til next time, the indoor ski slope will have to do!

Thanks so much guys for a brilliant week. It was great to meet you all and thank you to all the help and advice from everyone. Was fantastic to be in the mountains with such a great crowd! Hope to see you all again soon

Back home with a glass of wine in hand reminiscing on a wild and crazy week. 🤪

But I can’t think of a better bunch of crazies to have gone through it all with than each and every one of you. Thank you for picking me up - both physically and metaphorically - drying the tears, making me laugh, igniting a love for rosé wine and for just being a fab bunch of people.

What an awesome amazing trip. I had the best week of my life and it was an absolute privilege and honour to meet so many wonderful and amazing people. Everyone inspired me so much I can’t begin to thank you all.

To Clare, Jane and Mark, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for all the help you guys gave me during a trip of a lifetime. You are all such amazing and wonderful people and without you all I would not have been able to experience such an amazing trip. So thank you. 

Finally, to Access Adventures for giving me this opportunity of a lifetime, you truly have saved my life yet again and given me so much hope and positivity and for this I am truly grateful. What you guys do is truly amazing and I’m blown away.

Amazing help from start to finish from the team. I hadn’t flown let alone skied before and Jane, Clare and Mark made the whole experience so unstressful! 

I had full support from the team learning how to ski. I was also encouraged and supported in further challenging myself out on the slopes and felt very comfortable listening to the advice given to take on more challenges each day! So grateful for the support! 

I’ve never experienced a sport quite like skiing. Although I am not great with heights, being out on the mountain was a feeling I just can’t quite explain other than it being magical!

Skiing is something I have always wanted to do (even before the accident). It’s something I probably would have never got round to doing, if the opportunity hadn’t come up with Access Adventures. 

It is by far the most amazing experience I have ever had - meeting the most amazing people throughout - and I cannot be more grateful to have experienced it with Access, being given the support and confidence throughout to enjoy and push myself to a once in a lifetime opportunity! Thank you!

Life changing experience!
